Very neat take on this unusual staircase, would you call it a half spiral? You have it aligned perfectly.
You should have seen the workshop group taking turns trying to capture this image. We had to lie down on a set of stairs, the 7th step to be precise, and placement needed to be exact. One inch movement in either left or right direction on the step put the image off balance. Then you needed to hold your breath while trying to align it all up. Several attempts were necessary. Luckily, we had a private tour, but we were on a very short timeline!

Thanks Ben!

This is very cool Tex. It's almost an abstract. Looking at it, I really can't tell if I am at the bottom looking up, or if I am at the top looking down.

Very nice!
Chicago has some amazing architectural and real city photographic opportunities.

Why were you in Chicago?
Thanks for the kind words. Here is a brief explanation of why I was in Chicago.

Recently, I had the privilege of spending six days in Chicago participating in an architecture photography workshop with professional photographer Justin Reznick. It was an amazing experience, taught by a Master instructor and photographer. Here is a brief trip review: Six full days - from before sunrise until after sunset; the app on my iphone says I walked 37.2 miles - 84,587 steps - while carrying a 20 pound photo backpack; I enjoyed meeting up and shooting with a photography friend on the same trip; I met three new interesting photographers; I learned more about architecture photography while experiencing a very interesting city. It is possible I might be getting too old for all of that walking!!

That does add some context to the neat shots you have been posting. Knowing where to go to get shots like this is everything. 37 miles in days? That's pretty good exercise.
