The Southwest from the Sky

During a recent flight from Las Vegas to Chicago, the pilot treated the passengers to spectacular views of several southwest locations. It was one of the more fun 3+ hour flights I’ve experienced.

Neat you had clear skies for this aerial tour of the Colorado Plateau. I have flown over the Grand Canyon quite a few times on flights between Utah and Phoenix but never got to view much of the rest of that area. I love the aerial perspective.

That's interesting with Monument Valley. The buttes look much more spread out then they feel on the ground. And yep, that's Gooseneck in #3.
