The Swans of Mirror Lake

The scene from one of the only good viewpoints of Mirror Lake from the ground I have found. There are some Tundra Swans along with just over a dozen Northern Pintails out on the lake with Palisades Falls off to the left. Shot on a visit to the Columbia River Gorge a couple of weeks ago. The thread title is Nature and Wildlife but the scene was framed as a landscape shot to include the waterfall.

C&C always welcome.

Very cool! Anytime you can get swans, it's a win!
Thanks Jim - there are several kinds of ducks out in that lake as well. There is only one place to shoot from on the ground but next time I will bring along my 2x extender to get 1000mm. That should let me get closer views on most of the visible lake. The only hazard is that the spot can get flooded when we get a lot of rain. This is the drainage pond for Shepperd's Dell, Latourell Falls, and Pailsades Falls.
