More of a fun shot then technically sound landscape photo. Hiking in Joshua Tree and looking up to see a Bighorn sheep up on top of the rocks watching was a really nice thrill. While there are Bighorn sheep out there, they often are seldom seen, I have gone years without seeing one, so when one does show up, and in this case there ended up being 3 or 4 of them if I remember right, it was thrilling.

So the sheep was in a shadow so I left him dark along with the surrounding shadowed area.

I'd shoot that image - and a dozen more if I could get them in before the bighorn left. He makes the shot work.

Thanks Alan, of course that means I will need to dig out one of the archive drives as I do remember shooting more, but as is often the case I only processed 1 shot from it and so this one is on my finished archive drive.

Wouldn't it be great to have like a 200TB drive so that everything was stored on one drive?

I would want to have that drive mirrored if everything was on there. I spent far too many years replacing failed disk drives in every type of device you can think of that has them.

Yep, of course. :) In this dream world of having a 200TB drive, I would have it mirrored completely, or perhaps for backup purposes use smaller hard drives, but yeah, having a back up is a great idea.

I decided to look on Amazon to see what is the size of the largest Hard Drives currently out. And 10TB seems to be about the largest. There are some 20TB ones, but they look to just be two 10TB ones in a Raid arrangement.

So I guess my 200TB dream will have to be put on hold for a while.
