The Window to the Milky Way - Timelapse

Here is the Timelapse that the photo I posted this morning was a part of. It's the Windows area in Arches National Park. You can see the South Window and Turret Arch. In addition you can see lot's of lights from planes and satellites, and the flashlights of the people who came about every 30 minutes to just run up to one of the Windows, shine their lights around and then run back. One might think that by 10 or 11pm after it had already been dark for 5 or 6 hours that people would have been back in Moab in their nice warm Hotel rooms as it was about 30 degrees out there. Oh well... :)

Please be sure to SHARE this video. :) Help me get my Milky Way timelapses to a larger audience. Thanks! :)

This came out really nice Jim. Too bad about all the pedestrian lights.
Thanks so much Ben.

Its a fact of life now. Not sure what the draw is to run out and take a selfie in the dark is? You would think their photos would look much better during the day.

Jim, a really cool time lapse. I couldn't help to let out a few chuckles, this scene is all too familiar when I shoot time lapse. The constant coming & going of "tourists" adds spookiness to the video.

Ha ha, thanks Oliver!

The lights from people used to bother me a lot more, but since I can't control it, all I can do is roll with it... :) And yeah, it does add a bit of spookiness to the video.
