My favorite is your drone capture of your neighborhood—love the snowy path disappearing into the trees and distant mountains beyond—very nice! Dan, thank you for sharing these beautiful seasonal scenes. My favorites are perhaps the first image of a snowy woodland with its reflection in the stream leading the eye into this perfect capture, as well as your fifth image of two snow covered trees, bare branches, with a few brown leaves yet to fall which contrasts nicely with the overall blue mood—very, very nice.
Ken, you have created your perfect winter image, a beautiful B&W edit and composition—and I love the vignetting about the perimeter of branches as well. (By the way I had to look up “dreich” in the dictionary…learn something every day!)
Craig, love each and every image. It’s nice to see these familiar landscapes enhanced by snow! Favorites: “Dusted” (nice composition and light shadows), “Morning Surprise” (nice blue snow shadows with the red rock), “Desert Life”, and “Christmas” (love all that snow), and the light captured in ”Succumbing to Nightfall” is beautiful with the warm and cool color contrast—very nice.
