Arch Canyon in southern Utah:

Alan, nice variety of canyons you’ve shared (thank you)—I especially like falls and the river present in the Wallowa River and the West Fork, McCord River images—very nice. The Arch Canyon looks inviting as well—love the view captured too. And of course, the Lower Antelope Canyon is perfect for this week’s Task—very, very nice!

Thanks John - the West Fork and McCord Creek locales aren't named as canyons but from a topographic perspective they certainly are canyons so I picked views that showed them that way. Its was fun thinking about named vs. unnamed canyons and what would work well for this topic.

Beth, a very beautiful landscape you've shared and thank you for doing so. I love the colorful flowered foreground with the path of rocks leading the eye to the green and blue mountains beyond. Very nice capture!

Wow! Jeffrey, I’m glad you shoot canyons regularly—and sharing these beautiful images. Thank you. Your first image, the Grand Canyon is perhaps my favorite, but all are so well captured and edited. The snowy Calf Creek Canyon is another special capture—nice. I also like both Antelope Canyon images as well—love the light illuminating portions of each with the adjacent shadows emphasizing them. I also like the Zion Canyon composition—the small green trees centered between the red rocks background and the rocky stream foreground. I like this “little” landscape a lot.

Very, very beautiful images Craig! You have a history of capturing perfect images and thank you for sharing each of these regardless of their age. My favorites are “Edge of Earth”, “Light’s Last Glimmering”, “Free Fall”, and “Breaking Dawn”.

Beautiful and colorful canyons you’ve shared Larry—thank you. The Cedar Breaks image’s shadowed background accentuates the sunlit foreground, works well—nice. Bryce Canyon’s orange contrasts well with the blue sky. Great image. A grand Grand Canyon image too—love the captured light and nice composition.Here are a few from my archive:
