Nice topic to play with and some great examples.

Desert scenes make great vistas since it's so easy to get wide expansive views. This panoramic scene is familiar to many along UT12:

Expansive views are much harder to come by in the Pacific NW due to endless tall trees. It helps to have a drone to get an aerial view like the panorama from the Columbia River Gorge.

There are some elevated viewpoints along the roads like this one overlooking the Gifford Pinchot forest and Mt. St. Helens.

One more drone shot in this case along the Oregon coast near Harris Beach State Park. Coastal scenes from the air can be almost magical.

Wonderful vistas Alan! Yes, the aerial perspective afforded by drone certainly captures vibrant vistas! Love the Harris Beach image, the Columbia River Gorge image, and the UT12 panorama—very, very nice! Thank you for sharing.

Larry, “late is better than never”—they say and especially true for these very beautiful vistas! I especially love the Dallas Divide View, an incredible image and my favorite! I also love the Grand Canyon image—a vista with a bench! Nice. I also love the Clinton Reservoir and the Guinella Pass landscapes—perfect! Thank you for sharing each of these Larry!
