Ken, great images—and interesting accompanying comments as well! I especially favor the first sky image from Skye, and the blue hour in the last image. Beautiful captures all! Ken thank you for sharing each of these with us.Sky from Skye. We were sitting in the pub having a drink when the colours kicked off. As we both were over the legal limit we just sat on the balcony and watched the show.

Also in Scotland this time blue hour from the Solway coast about 30 miles from our house. This area has an enormous tidal range and it is possible to walk for several miles out from the coast and a few people each year need rescuing as on a rising tide the water comes in at well above walking pace hiding the deep channels. This pair are locals and had just walked across this estuary, not something I have ever contemplated.

Kyle, thank you so much for sharing each of these splendid sky images! All are well captured and edited and I especially love the Iceland image—the image’s sky certainly benefits from the extreme wide angle, a very dramatic image! I also love the sky colors captured at Salt Point State Park—gorgeous landscape. Your last image from Montana is very special too…and I guess from a convenient point of view. Very nice! Here are a few that emphasize the sky...

Larry, wonderful sky images you’ve shared—thank you for doing so! I absolutely LOVE the first image, Sunset at Dallas Divide. Gorgeous image and my favorite! I also like the Thunderheads over Denver and the B&W image of the Taylor Park Reservoir. The silhouetted rocks and gorgeous sunrise at Arches is a sight to see—glad you captured it! The Utah image is also nice—love the foreground as well as the sky. Again, thank you for sharing each of these Larry.I love clouds in landscapes and had to limit my picks or I would be here all day!

Jameel, excellent images all! I love the Oregon image. I love the rocks sandwiched between the colorful sky and its reflection in the ocean below. Very nice. The Grand Tetons capture’s composition, reflection—and sky create a memorable image. The Alaska landscape is another wonderful “sky” capture—love it! The B&W Capitol Reef is a well framed landscape too. The “drone from home” image captures the beautiful clouds above—again very nice indeed. Thank you for sharing each one Jameel.Skies under the right conditions are landscape photographer's best friend. In others one has to avoid them.
Here are few from my stash.

Craig, truly a wide range of skies you have shared—and thank you for sharing them with us. Each landscape is very well captured in composition and often the skies above provide integral interest and beauty to each image. I really like Popcorn Skies with the strong reds bordered by the blue sky and “popcorn” clouds. Nice. Sunlit Squall is another with a timely capture of unique light from the sky. Again very nice. I love the wide angle capture of Mystery Canyon and its cloud formation. The warm Monsoon Season colors with the addition of the rainbow is definitely a favorite—perfect! I love Wild Blue Yonder with the sky providing the inspired title. I love this composition Craig. Storming the Castle is a great winter capture of the clouds and the snow almost covering the red rocks. And Tranquility is so peaceful—and beautiful—hence the well chosen title. Great images Craig!Clouds, sky?, dark sky? Anything that was interesting at the time!

Thank you for sharing each of these great landscapes featuring such compelling skies. I love your latest image with such a colorful sky above the desert floor. Very nice. The Death Valley image’s sky seems appropriate for this location! Nice. My favorite is your third image—so very beautiful! Perfect. The fourth image’s sky is perhaps the most arresting of this collection. Great capture! I also favor the last image featuring the shafts of light across the landscape—another favorite. All are well composed and we appreciate your sharing. The first one I made just yesterday in the Mojave Desert. Others are from the past few years.
