Jeffrey, thank you for these splendid wildlife images—and for sharing them. The last image of the Grant’s zebras is especially nice—and my favorite. I love the penguin images, the first with the three on the beach and the image of the lone penguin in its beautiful environment. The two grizzly bear images are also well captured in their habitats. The second bear image from Alaska is a gorgeous composition—very nice. Again, thank you for sharing each of these wonderful photos.

I don't often shoot wildlife other than birds and bugs so I had to dig for this one.

I am not a wildlife shooter at all, but if an animal wanders into my field of view I will grab an image or two because I feel obligated to. Having said that, these images may not qualify because they no longer qualify as wild?

This guy walked down into position and posed for me, held the pose for a few seconds, then casually looked over his shoulder to ask "did you get that?"

I heard some movement nearby, just behind this mound of dirt, when a head finally popped up.

Alan, I love the Chorus frog image, perfect composition. I love the Yellowstone bison image—beautiful light captured. The elk added a nice addition to the Smith River lowlands landscape, a beautiful autumn capture. The deer at Fern Canyon is also great capture too—glad she posed to make a memorable image. The gray squirrel is a nice addition to this task—is it just me or do squirrels often look like they’re “up to something.” Thanks for sharing each of these images Alan.

I really like these two images Michael—the first image is very well composed with a very willing subject. Great pose and capture! I love the second image too—the capture and the story precipitating the shot. Thanks for sharing both of these images.

Craig, I love the wildlife variety you’ve shared— and thank you for doing so. It could certainly be bad to be surprised by many species and particularly bears. Great image by the way! (And it certainly deserves a title). I also love the White Rim desert bighorns capture—perfect composition. And the Canyonlands desert bighorns is another great image—great capture of their “interaction.” The Henry Mountains bison image Is truly beautiful, love the two color layers. Very nice. I also favor the “crossing guard” image. Great capture. I also like the look you’re getting from the young elk.

Kyle, wonderful wildlife within the landscapes images. Very, very nice! The first image of Schwabacher Landing is a beautiful composition of gorgeous colors aided by the addition of the lone moose and its reflection. Perfect and my favorite. The moose at Eagle River is another wonderful image, very nice. Love all the colors. The Botswana landscape capturing the elephant moving across the frame is nice as well—love the contrast of the neutral gray elephant moving across the warmly lit background. Great image and another favorite. The last image of the brown bear is a well composed wildlife capture too. Very nice. Thank you for sharing each of these wildlife landscapes!
