Michael, wonderful images you’ve shared with us today—thank you so much. I love the row of colorful trees and their reflection at Cedar Breaks NM—a simple and very effective composition. Well seen. I also favor the infrared image of the Watchman in Zion NP—gorgeous colors and perfect composition. I know nothing of infrared photography and what results are derived from using a modified infrared camera—but I sure do like your results. Very nice and a definite favorite. (I’ll have to do a little research on the infrared subject). I also love the effective composition of the redwoods at Jedediah Smith SP—the extreme perspective works well with their impressive height. Very nice! I also like the composition of the Hoh Rainforest image, especially the low branch across the lower portion of the image. The descending moss covered limbs adds much visual interest to this image. Nice. Perhaps my most favorite is the Joshua Tree image—wonderful capture of the night sky and the perfect composition of the granite monolith and pine tree beneath. Well done! Again, thank you for sharing these beautiful images for this week’s Task.

Larry, quite beautiful images you’ve shared—and thank you for posting them for this week’s Task. I like the juniper leaning towards Organ Rock in this composition. Very nice. The Rock Creek fall image’s composition benefits from the prominent winding stream—great capture. Very nice. I like the composition of Mt Blue Sky Road with the two bristlecones framing the single tree in the middle. Well captured. And the two trees framing the mountains beyond is nice in the Horseshoe Basin in RMNP. Beautiful. The Kenosha Pass aspens is another beautiful and colorful image with the foreground trees framing the view beyond. Very nice. I love the distant Kenosha Pass, a very colorful and beautiful image—very nice. I love the layers of autumn gold! And the winter aspens in the snowy hillside works well. Nice to see the white bark of the aspens against the snow especially in B&W. Thanks again for sharing Larry.

Beautiful images Alan—and thank you for sharing each of them! The first image of Sweet Creek Trail is very nice and looks inviting to explore. The burled tree is quite the sight. I don’t recall seeing any examples before quite as extensive as your pictured one. Unique! The Silver Falls Trail is another trail that also seems to beckon you onward. Very nice. The Rain Forest image is quite the sight as well. It seems that if you lingered too long you might find greenery sprouting on your tripod—or yourself. I love the Mossy Trail image—a gorgeous capture of oranges, blues and the green tree. The midwinter sunrise is perhaps my favorite for the vibrant colors of the sky, fog, trees, and the peaks beyond. Gorgeous image and thanks again for sharing each of them for this week’s Task.

Ken, remarkable variety of captures from this location and thank you for sharing them. I love the unique beauty of each image, perhaps my most favorites are the second and third—but all beautiful images. You did good Ken!

Jeffrey, very interesting expressions for this week’s Task—I love the “abstract” renderings of a common landscape subject. I cannot choose a favorite as all are visually appealing. Very nice. Thank you for sharing each of these images Jeffrey!
