Michael, I love the abstract quality to your images you shared today—and thank you for doing so! I especially favor the first, second and fifth images! Very nice. The slow shutter speed creates an attractive quality to many of these images as well. Of course water’s reflectiveness lends to many of these images appeal. I love the bank of trees displaying this quality in your sixth image. Nice. Your final image, the “split-mirrored” island with strong color saturation is a very interesting creation—it creates the illusion of a “face” in the center. Again thanks for sharing Michael!

Alan, five gorgeous images you’ve shared and we thank you for doing so. One favorite, Mt. Hood from Vancouver Lake is a well composed and beautiful capture. Love all the blues and greens. A definite favorite, Foggy Brookings, captures the restless sky and waves with beautiful fog enhancing this composition. Very nice. And the animated waves in Otter Crest captures the beauty and power of the scene. Following this, the Columbia River is an interesting alternative seeing the wide expanse before us—peaceful. The last image, Woahink Island, is another serene scene. Very nice capture as well. Thanks for sharing each of these Alan.
Jameel, thank you for sharing all these wonderful “waterscapes” with us today! It’s hard to choose a favorite—so I won’t try! I love the Lake O’Hara composition—enhanced with the beautiful reflection. The S. Oregon Coast image is “picture perfect”—very nice! I also like the Zion NP image captured during autumn—also very nice. I love the Owen’s River wide angled composition centered on the river’s course. Both Alaska images are well scenes seen—and captured too. Very nice. The IR image is an interesting alternative to a traditional capture—I guess we’ll call them everpinks instead of evergreens.

Larry, sorry I’m a day late seeing these gorgeous images—but happy I have now! The Long Lake Outlook is perhaps my favorite among each of these beautiful images—love this perfect composition. I love the warm colors in the Twin Lakes image—very nice. Lily Lake is another very nice composition—with much of it devoted to the beautiful sky above and its lake reflection below. Well captured. The Belmar Lake is also interesting composition and well framed too. Nice. Another favorite is the Taylor Reservoir panorama capturing the reservoir between the foreground bank and the beautiful mountains beyond. Very nice.
