I was quite fond of Moab in the 1970's and 1980's but hadn't been there since when I made it one of my stops on a road trip right after retiring in 2015. I was honestly horrified at what the place had turned into in the intervening years and after a couple of quick day trips I fled south and have only stopped in Moab for fuel on subsequent trips through the area and mostly stayed near Blanding and Bluff. Way too many people in the Moab area for my preferences.

Larry, very beautiful images you’ve shared, thank you! I like the Organ Rock composition—I like the leaning tree pointing towards the Rock. Nice. Your second image of the same subject is interesting as well. I really like the Bryce Canyon composition especially including the lone tree—a favorite. Very nice. The silhouetted Balanced Rock image with the glorious sky above is a gorgeous image. Very nice. I like the Canyonlands image—great composition too. Nice. I love the colors captured in your Dead Horse Point image too and a definite favorite. Good composition too. Thanks again Larry!

Wow, many of these places I haven't been to in years. They disappeared from my mind..
Here's too many, but I tried to pick mostly unusual locations.

Many years ago I started photographing in Cisco because I knew it would be ruined. As it was.

Craig, thank you for sharing these exquisite landscapes. I love the perfect composition “Long and Winding Road” and the appropriate title. Very nice. “Toadstool” is a great winter capture—I like the blue shadows on the snowy foreground. Nice. I wonder if I love the title or image more in “Extraterrestrial Highway”—perfect in every respect! (Perfect composition!) I like the “Blue Sky Beckons” with the stream centered in the composition. Nice. The colors in “Breaking Dawn” are well seen and captured. I like the different subject In “2¢ Postage Due—a definite favorite. I love the strong complementary orange and blue colors in the well named “Twin Peaks.” Very nice. “Wild Blue Yonder” is another perfect composition—love the sky above the orange sculptures below. Gorgeous image! “A Winter Scene” certainly captures the season and I love the captured reflections. Wonderful. “Storming the Castle” is another gorgeous wintry landscape and a definite favorite too. Very nice. “Castles in the Sand” is a beautiful well seen scene—with the blue river below the orange buttes above. Gorgeous. I like “Viewpoint” image too—good colors and composition too. Thanks again for sharing these beautiful images Craig!

A popular location for many of us. There are likely to be many views of the same location this week. Haven't been to this area lately.

Jameel, six beautiful landscapes you shared—thank you for adding these to this week’s Task. A very beautiful Mesa Arch image you captured! Very nice and definitely a favorite. The Lasal mountain image’s reflection creates a memorable capture—very nice. I love the beautiful captured colors in the archless Arches N.P. image. Again very nice. I love the beautiful colors captured in the Dead Horse Point S.P. image—and a definite favorite too. I love the wide angle capture, the warm colors, the beautiful sky above—the whole thing! The layers captured in the Fisher towers image creates a memorable composition. And of course, the arched Arches N.P. demonstrates why is deserves its name. Very nice.

Alan thank you for sharing these landscapes. I love the Mexican Hat panorama composition—nice to see the surrounding features as well—it also makes the Mexican Hat formation more unique amongst these surroundings—a favorite. I like the distant view of Goosenecks too—with beautiful clouds above. A beautiful Delicate Arch image with the arch encompassing the gorgeous cloud beyond is definitely a favorite. Very nice. I like the dead tree and rocky foreground completing the scene. Very nice. I like the trail side scene—with a gorgeous sky above. Love the blue and orange complementary colors captured. The Salt Valley Overlook image captures interesting rocky layers under stormy skies. Nice layers. Thanks again for sharing these images Alan.

@AlanLichty , the delicate arch titled image is probably the landscape arch.
