Driving that road looks like a pretty serious adventure that might be hard on windshields. Jaw dropping scenery on the other hand. Beautiful view of this valley and the winding road ahead.

Several in Dawson City, one at the start of the road near Dawson then the next is about 400 kilometres up the road. Advised to carry two spare tires as well and fuel cans.
scary. It reminds me of a photo I took while driving through the Australian outback with my wife in the early ’80s—back when there was no GPS or cell phones. The Avis Suzuki had two gas tanks, and the rental office instructed us to stick to the planned route. If we didn’t reach our destination within a set number of hours, they would send a plane to locate us. They even provided us with a bunch of flares for emergencies.

Alan, what a cool view! The remoteness of it just seems so apparent even without your description. How many days does it take to drive it the whole way?
