Tonight's near full moon.

At Pickthorne Lake, I had hoped to catch the near full moon, @ 11 hours past true full, rising this evening. Alas, clouds got in the way!
Right at 1/2 hour past sunset, I still liked the way the moonlight lit the clouds, and especially the reflection.
15 sec exp, for the lake.

The smooth lake water is nice. Not actually having the moon works in the image since it just teases where the light is coming from.

Love this one, Barry. I like it that the clouds are part obscuring the moon. It gives the scene a kinda hide'n'seek feeling. The lit clouds are lovely and I like the track going off the end of the pier.
