Learning experience for 3-28-2021: a standard ND Filter does not work on a Full Spectrum camera with a infrared drop in filter. But it did make a nice "high key" black and white. This was taken with a Edge 50 Lensbaby lens.

Note: They do make IRND Filters

Learning experience noted - I was considering ND filters for shooting IR waterfalls. How well do polarizing filters work in IR?

My next test is using a ND on my 665nm conversion. It's not a filter on a filter like the FS, so I guess we will see.

I did a test on my 665nm using standard ND Filters (ND2, ND4, ND 8 ND16}. I'm happy to say with the ND2 & ND4 there was little effect on the infrared. With the ND8 & ND16 it still wasn't too bad, although I did notice some diminished effect on the overall color, but do able.
