I thought the same thing and tried it, but it looked to squatty after the crop.

I was also thinking about the crop, losing all of the sky above the clouds and going with a pano crop, but it sounds like you tried that idea already.

Great feel, love the coloring, and I too was going to suggest the crop, but just scrolling the page up to give the effect I see the 'squattiness' you are talking about So better this way, I think.
