Train in sepia

Trying something new. Sepia adds to the past feeling of the scene. Note the wires along the track in the bottom right: they are the classic, mechanical controls of switches and signals (!).

Perfect treatment for this old steamer. I don't think I have seen the wiring along the tracks like this before - fascinating. My first thought was that this was a stationary museum piece but the stack appears to be emitting smoke. Cool subject to shoot.

Yup, it's actually steaming in to the station. Picture taken from the platform. It's the same train as in colour in Transportation: ZLSM steam train locomotive.

Not all Sepia is the same Ad. And often I don't like it, but your Sepia version I find very appealing. I don't know what your recipe was, but it was perfect.

Great shot... I would hesitate between dark black and white or sepia...

Not all Sepia is the same Ad. And often I don't like it, but your Sepia version I find very appealing. I don't know what your recipe was, but it was perfect.

I took the default sepia setting of the RAW developer but enhanced the black tones en reduced contrast.
