Two for One

I was taking some IR images of these individually the other day, but saw two plants together and thought I would try a two for one image. After the custom profile and WB, there was very little color in this, a bit of a light blue cast which looked pretty cool, but in the end I just desaturated totally and turned it into a B&W.

Nicely done. Some of the clutter at the bottom distracts, cropping that off will bring the focus to the top part of the image which will make the image stronger, methinks.

Thank you Jameel. Your point is one of the reasons I went to B&W. With it still the light blue, the brown of the dirt and stuff really stuck out to me. So the B&W definitely mitigated that, though it didn’t eliminate it. I thought about it, but was afraid it would crop too much off the bottom and give the image a cut off feel.

I like the upper portion - this worked well as a B&W but I do have to agree with Jameel that the debris at the bottom keeps yanking my focus down to it instead of the neat leave above.

Thanks Alan, I will try a crop later, maybe a pano crop would work.
