Two Lakes

Probably a shocker from me but here are two images that do not feature flowing water

These two lakes are along the Grinnell Glacier Trail in Glacier National Park. Unfortunately the best place to shoot from would have been in the middle of each of the lakes but that wasn't an option.

The first is Swiftcurrent Lake. The other end of this lake is where the Many Glacier Lodge is located.

Hey Alan,

Very nice work on these, and I think if I look close enough that water is moving...

My favorite is #2 with that trail, that does add a really nice visual line into the shot.

These are quite delightful! Wonderful scenery for sure!
One suggestion if I may....in the first, I wonder about darkening the lake a little bit. I know some of it is the bottom rocks, but the reflections seem a touch brighter than the bg mountains and sky to my eyes. Just a thought.

Beautiful captures Alan, the second has better flow and leading lines, not to mention reacher palette, the first is a bit too bright for me.
