Two Medicine Lake + wider view

Anybody who has camped at Two Medicine Lake in the fall or winter, knows that the wind off the lake can be very strong. Taken mid-October, the last gasp, before winter really sets in…
Pretty dark, but it was at last light.

This definitely imparts dark and impending.

That wind is bad enough by mid to late Sept. and sets the stage for what comes later on. Have not tried hanging out much past that. How late in the year is that campground open?

I've been there into mid October, I imagine it's open till the snows move in, not like California where they button up campsites late September, very frustrating.

That last one looks really close to the campground I stayed at.....
