This was the view I had just outside of my hotel everyday for my eight days in Venice. I never got tired of it!

I love the color shot but at the same time that place sure looks good in B&W.

Venice sure is unique with the canals. This seems like a more off the beaten track location, like a side canal and it adds another dimension to the broad canals we are used to seeing.

I prefer the color version, but want to see the whole canal and the colorful buildings, did you also shoot framing more to the right?

Jim: I might have a shot from the other side pointed towards the yellow building, but I don't think I have one shooting down the center of the canal. I'll have to take a look for the other side view.

This is an area I don't think you can ever get enough of in a photo. So many juicy details it will always leave you wanting more.
