Waited almost all summer for a sunset

Canadian smoke has been a major disruption to my sunset shooting, yesterday was an exception

On top of the smoke I have been fighting mobility issues all summer. So I haven't had much to share. But the end is in sight hopefully. Hip replacement surgery scheduled at the end of the month. Hopefully I will be mobile and shooting by fall color. But other wise I will keep watching you folks. Thanks for posting your pictures

A very nice sunset scene - looks like it was worth the wait. Do you still have lingering air quality issues? The color of the sky in this scene reminds me of what our look like with a bit of smoke in the air.

Sorry to hear about your mobility issues - hope the hip replacement fixes that up.

Smoke is down a lot , but exactly as you saw, it still lingers to some degree
