"Walk Into The Future"

I had the opportunity to spend six days doing architecture photography in Chicago with pro photographer Justin Reznick. It was an awesome experience! Here is a brief recap - Six full days, from before sunrise to after sunset; my phone app says I walked 37.2 miles, 84,587 steps; an existing friendship renewed, met three new interesting photographers, experienced one of the best instructors I've ever met with incredible attention to participant detail! It's possible I might be getting too old for that amount of walking. It did work me a bit.

I have not yet processed images from my trip to the Palouse in August. So, it may be a while before I get to the bulk of my Chicago images, but wanted to get one up on the board.

This is sure a sweet shot! Great light and composition. I sure like this first taste.

When are your 3 fellow students joining FocalWorld? It would be awesome to see what they captured too, plus we need more cityscapes being posted.

Ummm, ahhh, I’m sure they will be joining any day now, Jim! Did I mention that I was on medication from all the walking I was doing?!

I like the lighting along this skywalk - it's an interesting convergence of light and lines with lots of neat little details.
