... at the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor on the Southern Oregon Coast. Some of the trails end rather abruptly with a nasty fall if you aren't careful. 665nm converted Nikon DSLR.

Hey Michael, I love how the whole cliff side is covered there.

And you are right, I noticed those trails that some of them really stop abruptly!

The primary trail all along the corridor is part of the Oregon Coast Trail but it offers few good viewpoints of the coast so there are lots of smaller paths where folks tried to blaze a path to a view. Quite a few of them didn't really work and lead to a cliff. Not a good place to hike during the dark of night unless you stick to the main trail. Looks nice in IR.

Thanks guys! I came to a couple of places where I could see the great view at the edge, but the cliff edge itself was tilted down and looked too crumbly to trust. So I backed out and lived to photograph another day.
