Hey Oliver, this is beautiful! What a great look. You might look into losing some off the left unless you have already tried that.

Portland Japanese Gardens is a place I need to get to sometime.

Heavenly Falls - a scene I am quite familiar with. Nice you got there with the azaleas and rhodies in bloom. Its hard to avoid leaf movements with long exposures at this waterfall feature.

Hi Jim, thanks ! I will try later.

The Japanese Garden is very unique, perhaps the largest such garden on the West Coast, so it's worth checking it out.

Thanks Alan, I saw your posting about the heavenly falls before and made a note to see it; I got there shortly after the 10:00am before more visitors arrived, also it was on a weekday. I imagine the place would be packed on the weekend.

I actually always went on Sunday (working stiff at the time) but as a Photo Member we got to go in at 8:00am. When the gates would open at 10am it was like opening a floodgate with waves of visitors stumbling in. I tried to time my visits so I was down at the far end of the garden at 10 which would give me time to finish whatever I was shooting before they would make it down there. Spots in front of the falls (see above) were always a prime target for the early visitors. :)
