This is a drone shot of Wahkeena Falls from late last week which includes a rare sighting of lots of empty parking spaces on the Historic Highway. That's the first time I haven't seen traffic jams there this year and I only go up on weekdays.

We have had a lot of rain so the falls were running high but after the storms that hit us this last weekend are running way higher yet. I got a shot of Multnomah Falls on this same flight and thought the spray at the bottom was impressive. Then I saw a shot someone took yesterday that made what I shot look like a trickle. I might go back up tomorrow and see what it looks like.

More from Stockghyll Force. It is almost impossible to get down into the gorge, in fact their are signs asking you not to use this gorge for ghyll scrambling as it is undermining the tree roots causing landslides bringing the trees down. Ghyll scrambling is is the local version of canyoning and even if it were allowed it would be far beyond my skills to get down and up to the water. I had brought my Tamron 28-200 so I could zoom in and pick out details. Ken

That big log in the second image seals volumes about how much water can come down this little gorge with heavy rains. I like the small scenes you picked out with your telephoto zoom.
