I like to think of it as Mother Nature providing props for our viewing pleasures. Not always exactly where we might want them but its her choiceAnother visit to Wahclella Falls in the Gorge. This is one of those instances where I really wanted to use my superpowers to move this huge log out of the frame. But that would be a crime against nature, so I resisted. This happens frequently when visiting an area for the first time after a hard winter, Mother Nature places elements there for a reason, not to make life easier for photographers.

Nice view up this little gorge. A great visual testimony for why carry a telephoto lens for shooting waterfalls and landscapes. I like how the scene fades off into what seems like endless falls beyond our view.
