Wednesday is upon us again so time for more waterfalls.

This is a small section of the series of cascades called Bunch Falls along the South Shore Road at Lake Quinault on the Olympic Peninsula.

Clambering about on wet, slick rock in a snowstorm ranges from exciting to downright stupid and finding a position where I could photograph the main part was definitely stupid thus this minor part. Here is small waterfall on a steep wall several thousand feet high at Misty Fjords National Monument. This location is called Mossy Wall and is a rookery for many sea birds including Pigeon Guillemot, Black-legged Kittiwake, and Marbled Murrelet, along with a variety of gull species.

This one is from 2013 and the Columbia River Gorge. It's a blend of a 1/40th to freeze the leaves that were moving and then 1/1.3 for the water in a 2nd image.
