My falls today are from a small regional park along the East Fork of the Lewis River. Mostly a park for picnics and small gatherings that happens to be the site of some small waterfalls. If you are looking for peace and quiet while you shoot the waterfalls on a summer weekend this is not the place to visit. These falls would be crawling with kids playing in the water. Its not far from the city of Battleground and is quite popular with the locals.

Pile on with whatever you have showing falling water :)

This is from Panther Creek Falls in Washington. This was taken from the upper observation deck before 2020. After a fatal accident, the deck was moved back and over a bit so that the only way to get this view now is with a drone.

Nice view - I shot from the old platform a few times many years ago but was never fond of the view limitations. My last visit there was with a drone and I found that the new platform was a workable launch spot although the path they built going down below the falls was a nice addition and worked even better for drone photography :)

It's fun seeing someone else's shots from that venue. There was a pretty amazing amount of water flowing down that creek for your visit. Almost hard to believe that in mid summer you can walk across the creek about 50 yards off to the right of this scene.
I never even considered trying to wade into the water to cross to the other side. There was way too much of it.

In mid summer the water is so low the creek is a field of rocks with water flowing in between. With a flow like what you saw you would be swept downstream in a heartbeat.

From Tuesday this week. This has been the driest period since records began. The last rain fell on 5th April and then it was a 20 minute light shower. The forecast is for another 12 days of dry sunny weather thus the lack of new waterfall images from me. I went for a hike to photograph bluebells, they were disappointing, but saw this tiny stream with a 1ft high cascade and couldn't resist. Unusually for me the sun is shining. Ken

Maybe not huge but still nice small set of falls. Interesting you are so high and dry right now. We are experiencing something similar in the Pacific NW but not quite setting records (yet).
