Time for another round of one of my favorite pastimes - watching water obey gravity. My example of that for today comes from central Oregon with Paulina Falls in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. These falls would be best photographed on a cloudy day for more uniform lighting conditions but I have yet to get those conditions during a visit and have to spend a lot of time in post taming the shadows and bright sunshine.

Here's Toketee Falls in Oregon on a lovely fall morning. Just a half mile hike to this viewpoint, a very sketchy path heads down to the bottom from here, but I said no thanks to that.

One of my favorites from that area of Oregon. I ended up shooting from the same place you did and never even considered dropping down to the bottom. One of the better examples of columnar basalt with a waterfall.
