Waterfall Wednesday 6/17/2026

Welcome to another round of waterfalls in their many forms from large to small. Whether it's deep in the forest, an aberrant set of falls in the desert or surrounded by cement if it features falling water this is the place to post it.

I have always loved poking around a complex of waterfalls looking for interesting small scenes and my offering for today is an example of that from just upstream from Panther Creek Falls. The Forest Service has closed off access to the place I shot this from due to stream bank damage which was quite notable when I shot this in 2011.

Very cool - I obviously like your small scene approach with this set of cascades in the Cascades. Logs stuck in falls add a lot of interest to scenes like this.

Gorgeous falls - glad you got out again to shoot them. I really like the wide view in the second image
