My falls for today are Mist Falls in the Columbia River Gorge from a visit in early February. I posted a much tighter view of this scene shot using a 70mm lens a few months back but this is a wider view of the scene shot with a 24mm lens. Seven shots captured from 390' blended using Burst Photo with light smoothing in DxO Photolab 7 along with the usual tweaks in LR/PS. The Historic Highway at the base of the scene was closed due to deep snow drifts that hadn't been cleared yet.

22 named waterfalls in about a 4 1/2 mile loop. Only problem is early morning hikes will get you to understand why ever other restaurant, store and gas station has "bear" in its name. Winter shuts down the trail for anyone not equipped for ice climbing.

I captured this off Cottonwood Creek in Colorado yesterday. I saw some water and stopped to get a photo for Alan. I was on my way up to Cottonwood Pass, it was about an hour before sunset and the Shadows were getting pretty deep.

Nice you stopped to grab a shot - looks like a pretty fast flow coming down that creek.
