Welcome to another round of falling water

My kickoff for today is the upper portion of Ruby Falls along Paradise Creek in Mt. Rainier National Park. A nice little set of falls just off to the side of the road leading from the Paradise area to the Reflection Lakes. I always prefer the low flows of fall for places like this for the more delicate cascades that appear when the water levels are low.

Wahkeena offers a lot of small scenes like this that are fun to shoot. I have shot scenes like this more than a few times near the parking area up there

Very nice - you must have had a cloudy day for such even lighting on these falls. I always end up with partial sunshine and shade.
