Falling water can take many forms and for today I am going to feature falling water that is the result of waves crashing into basalt formations. There is a short lived display of falling water once the wave energy is exhausted and gravity takes over. Winter visits are best for consistent wave energy displays like what you see below during an early January visit to the basalt ledges at Cape Perpetua.
