Late yesterday afternoon on my way out to trail run I looked up and saw the moon nicely lit up against the blue sky, so I made a quick U-turn and went back to grab my Tamron 150-600mm lens. I stopped at a churches parking lot close to where I run and set up and for 10 minutes took some photos of the moon. I then packed up and went running. :)

I think this is kind of cool because the sky is still well lit with sunset a little over an hour away. So it was nice to see the blue background and then how the blue wraps around the moon on the shadowed side.

Nice. I trust you didn't run with your 150-600?
Thanks!

Actually... if it wasn't all of a sudden up to 95 degrees in the hills where I run, I could have ran with it. 🦵With my training I am ready to start running with a backpack anyway, so the Tamron would add a nice chunk of weight to it. :)
