No solid wish list here but some free streaming thoughts in passing - we have done shapes, colors, and things, how about textures and surfaces as a vector for some more focus items? Ripples, waves, grains, water reflections with various textures, and maybe patterns? Lots of directions to go with patterns.

I like Alan's thoughts. Mine go to more specific.....wood, water, concrete, metal, brick, rust.....but I also like shapes, texture, grain, reflections, colors, etc.
