When Stars Come Out Shooting (Dodecatheons)

Wildflower season is getting under way at 8500' in Colorado! We'll be getting some hot weather in a few days (hopefully just for a few days), so things should be popping. Delphiniums have been out for 1 1/2-2 weeks, pasques are fading, Dodecatheon pulchellum (Shooting Stars) are gearing up and irises are beginning to make their appearances.

These are alongside the little creek that flows just outside of the community garden down the hill from my house.
