In some areas along the Oregon coastline the loose soils offer little to no resistance to simply sloughing off into the Pacific. This is part of Ecola State Park just south of Indian Beach and offers an excellent example of water and gravity at work as the hillsides fall into the ocean. During the rainy season pieces of the hillsides fall off almost constantly and you can stand and watch as unconsolidated soils and rocks tumble down in front of you.
C&C always welcome.
