For today's Winged Wednesday, I'll contribute just one species from my Columbia trip. When I'm asked, "what's your favorite bird?" I always say, "the one I'm looking at." However, it would be very difficult to keep the Grey-breasted mountain toucan out of my top ten favorite birds I've photographed. Grey-breasted mountain toucans are found in humid, high Andean forests of southern Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru (7500'- 11500'). Their population is declining due to habitat loss.
