My Contributions to today's Winged Wednesday are Great egret photos. Post anything you want with wings.

I prefer still photography over videos. This sequence was captured in just one-third of a second. Each photo freezes a moment in time, enabling us to cherish the details
of that split second one frame at a time. Regrettably, this composite of 10 photos can not be seen close-up on Focal World. This image is 33.3 X 3.67 inches.

I am off to hunt for Puffins at the weekend. This image from 2014 is my best from my last attempt. They were nesting atop an offshore island so no chance to get closer. This time I will be on the cliffs of NE Scotland. As a bonus there is a waterfall that plunges into the sea. Ken

Thanks, Eric. This shot was taken in Pismo Beach, CA this weekend. These gulls were in the middle of a big flock of brown pelicans settling down for the night on the cliff side.
