you did find animals with wings. Mallard hen and the second photo is a mallard and an American Coot

Thanks Eric, my knowledge of our feathered friends is definitely lacking. I love the images you guys post, they are all so beautiful. I just never had an interest in shooting them myself, that might change the more I see on here. I give you guys credit for doing such a fine job capturing these elusive creatures.
