Winged Wednesday

For the seventh “Winged Wednesday,” I have selected three photos of hummingbirds in my yard in Sedona Arizona. the second and third were taken this morning when I should have been posting Winged Wednesday. The first photo is a Calliope hummingbird (top) and a female Black-chinned hummingbird. The second and third photos is a Black-chinned Hummingbird on Yellow Flowering Texas Yucca

My wife and I usually ID birds while walking and every time I call out "mourning Dove," she replies "Morning, Eric.

These are so cool! It looks like you have hummingbirds now!

I am hoping for a bird to fly close to me while waiting out this thunderstorm so I can contribute.

Lovely bird and technically perfect. I think the crop is too tight, it boxes the puffin in. Try an 11 X 14 crop for portrait or landscape crop that includes habitat. If you want my opinion on the crop, send me an un-cropped version (egofreed@gmail.com)
