Winter Cottonwoods in b&w

I took my previous post of the lit-up cottonwoods at a pond east of Bishop and converted it to b&w.
It was a striking scene in person and I'm pleased to share it, again from Dec '17.

Almost has an IR feel to it in B&W. Nice result.

Thanks, guys! I did use a little red filter in Silver Efex Pro 2, but did it in a separate layer and masked it in at medium opacity. Full bore was just a little too much, imho.

I agree this has an IR feel to it Barry. I like the color the best still, but this is a worthy image.

Great conversion, I definitely prefer this to the color, but I'm a B&W guy. I use some red filter in most of my landscapes with blue sky, you dialed it in very nicely here.
