Nice to see a bit of the white stuff starting to build up a base. Good scene for B&W.
Sweet Michael! As @Jim Dockery has noted the newer iPhones can produce amazing photos. Even my iPhone 6s does incredible work.
And in the end, it’s the person behind whatever device is capturing the photo. And in this case you did a great job with the composition and the B&W processing. I like the subtle details like the dead grasses.

Lovely! Try cropping off most of the snow in the foreground. I think that would look even better.

Thank you for your suggestion. If not for that cute snow-covered plant in the foreground, I would have cropped out some of the snowy foreground. I felt that the little plant anchored the shot and captured the shot with that in mind.
