Again, on a birding trip to the Chiricahua Mts area, we spotted several species of Woodpeckers (Sapsuckers).

Outstanding shots of these birds. Were you on a guided birding tour or do you just know the area well enough to be able to sniff these specimens out on your own? Very impressive collection.

Wow! Who knew there were so many woodpeckers in Arizona? I had no clue. I love woodpeckers from seeing and hearing them growing up in Minnesota. But then I never saw them again as my family moved to California when I was a teenager. So there is a place in my heart for these guys. I really enjoyed looking at what you captured. If you have more please start a new thread with them, I sure would enjoy seeing them.
