WR-134 - Oregon Star Party

I captured my version of WR-134 during my 4 nights at the 2023 Oregon Star Party, in July 2023. Several of the nights were quite windy. The Meade 127mm @ 1100 mm f/9 was a long 'sail' on the CEM70G mount. After bad subframes were removed, I ended up with about 10 hours of integration!

The Oregon Star Party location in the Ochoco mountains is a B1/B2 area. Join the Party July 30-Aug 4, 2024.

Sweet - that area should be quite nice for dark skies and you have some nice results to show for it.

This is so awesome Andy! Love the details. I think this and the Iris nebula are next on my list.

And thanks for the heads up about the Star Party. Next year, maybe 2 months before it, so in May, make a thread just advertising the Star Party. Will you be there are 4 or 5 days? I like the idea of it, but I also like to capture the 4th of July fireworks. I would need to see if there are any cool displays up in Oregon on the 4th that I can video for my YouTube channel.

Not sure I’ve seen this nebula before Just had to Google it. Nice editing - tight stars and good detail. Will have to try this one myself
