Yard Bird

One of the more common birds that show up around where I live - a Scrub Jay. Hanging out in a birch tree next to my driveway.

Thanks Jim - these guys hang out year round in our neighborhood. Last summer a couple of them had a nest in my neighbor's arborvitae so I got to watch their kid grow up. If they do that again I should be able to get much better captures this year.

Thanks Joe - They are pretty cool birds although they can be quite noisy with their squawking.

Thanks - I wish I had a wider variety of avian species in my yard to choose from but I am not going back to feeders that are commandeered by squirrels again.

Thanks Eric - these guys are one of the most common birds I see in our yard year round. They are in competition with the crows as to who can make the most noise.
