Yellow Carpet - Canyon Rim Campground

Here is a shot trying to capture the amazing flower blooms in various areas around the campsite we were staying at in Flaming Gorge. Pretty cool and hopefully indicative of what we might get to experience in July near Crested Butte (our next camping trip...) Comments and critiques most welcome.

Arrowleaf Balsamroot is the name of the plant. This stuff is all over the place in eastern Washington in a very similar environment with the Ponderosa pines. This is a pretty extensive carpet of blooms. Nice.
