Very little post-processing done on this one, taken yesterday while exploring Lye Brook near home in Vermont. I really like the simplicity of it. C&C welcome.

Thanks a lot. This is somewhat staged - I found the leaf on the ground and stuck the stem in a little hole in the log so it would stand upright in a ray of late afternoon sun. Sometimes you have to make your subjects work for you I do enjoy backlit macro subjects like this. Leaves are a popular one because the sun shines through them so divinely

I like how nice and yellow the leaf is and then how the background is almost monotone.

Thanks, glad you like it. I do like how the background is kind of greyed out. The camera seemed to adjust the white balance to produce that effect and I didn't change it in post.
